TEACHING
I'm opening an acting studio here in Venice in October 2011. My desire
to teach has come out of a fascination with my own creative
process. As Terrie Silverman, (creativerites.org) states, "The
subconscious is always one step ahead of the conscious mind" I have
been working on the curriculum for awhile now and have rested on a
structure for the class. It will probably change as I begin my practice
of teaching, however I feel confident it is a good place to start..
The class will be small and hands on. It will include;
A meditation exercise
A movement exercise
Dream journaling
10 concepts by Uta Hagen
The journey of need by Susan Batson
All scene work rehearsed in class
Importance of having a Monologue
